A CANADIAN DRUGSTORE: MONTREAL
I thought it would be fun to share some photos of my local drugstore Pharmaprix with you guys, I know a lot of my readers are American and British, so here's a small peek into the shelves of the beauty section! Of course we have the standard L'oreal, Maybelline, Cover Girl brands, but when I moved to Montreal (i'm American) I was so shocked to see how many french brands the drugstore carried. Bourjois, La Roche Posay, Bioderma, Vichy, the list goes on. They also carry Canadian brands such as Marcelle, Personelle, Lise Watier, which I try from time to time but if i'm totally honest i'm not exactly thrilled with.
I love that there are women stationed in the beauty section that are there to help you with your needs (although sometimes I just want to be left alone. Who else has had the secret dream of being the only person in a makeup store? I'd swatch the sh*t out of everything...).
Another drugstore here is Jean Coutu, which carries high end brands like The Balm. Sometimes I miss american drugstores because of the awesome sales and brands like Milani and Wet n' Wild, but overall I really love our drugstores here!
